3.68/4.0
School does not weight.
I'd like to point out that my freshman grades are lacking, but my sophomore and junior grades are MUCH higher. Also, The 4.0 GPA scale I calculated was according to:

A = 4.0
A- = 3.7 and so on

I would have a 3.8/4.0 from sophomore/junior year.
If it was according to:

A = 4.0
B = 3.0 and so on

I would have a 3.93/4.0 from sophomore/junior year. It really is my freshman year grades that are dragging me down.

AP's and Honors:3 Honors classes and 1 AP so far - next year I will be taking 3 AP's (AP Micro/Macroeconomics, AP Calculus AB, and AP Biology) and Multivariable Calculus.

AP Statistics: 5

Also, I am in a Math Intel Class which is a nationally reknowned competition.

Class Size/School:Not sure about class size, but it is over 500. I am at a very competitive school (Bronx HS of Science) Top 20 high schools in the nation.

SENIOR IN NEED!

Stats look too weak.

I believe you will have pretty good chances if you can raise your score to a 2100.
What if their acceptance rate for ED?

Agreed with hmom5. Your stats are too weak especially for being asian. You have a pretty low chance at WashU ED. Gotta raise that SAT.

bump 10chars.

bumpers!!!

Okay, a few things, firstly that Writing score is going to DRAG YOU DOWN, you’ve gotta get it up. They wont write you off immediately because of it but nothing else about your application says to an adcom, “Hey I’m so incredibly awesome that you should just forget about the Writing score!” Secondly, don’t make such a big deal about the GPA thing, they will look at your grades and do their own GPA calculation, some universities(not sure about WashU) will even throw out your frosh grades. What really doesn’t make sense, and I think an adcom would notice this, is that you scored very well on the math SAT, but you only have one math related EC, while you’ve won writing contests and awards but your score was a 550!!! So I think that you will have a decent shot if you apply ED like you say, because that means a lot to Wash U, and get the Writing up to ATLEAST 680, and the Critical reading up to 700. If you leave your stats alone, and blow off senior year, WashU will be a very very high reach, if you take some advice, I’d say anywhere from a high match to a mid reach.

Chance me?

bumper stickers

bumpersssssss

I think if you go ED you’re in, don’t listen to a lot of these guys there overly critical. Seriously 350 hours basically doing what you’re going to major in, with that alone and a weaker gpa you would of been in most places.

go for me
