<p>you’re competitive. applying ED makes up a little bit for not being in the top 10%. is your HS competitive? because that will be a plus in your case. Be careful how you frame your ECs so you come across as being strong in a particular some thing or things.</p>

<p>Yeah, I guess my high school is competitive, we send about 20-25 kids a year to top 25 or Ivy league institutions a year</p>

<p>You’re a solid applicant. Your weakness, however, is that your resume doesn’t communicate any passion that you have for any particular subject or extra curricular activity. All in all, it’s a very generic application. For “chance” purposes, I’d say you have a 50/50 chance for Early Decision.</p>

<p>oh yea, can you flesh out how well the former senator who will write your rec know you? </p>

<p>how many hours did you spend on community service in India and what did you do there? how about in Atlanta?</p>
