ED chances!

<p>yep another chances thread.. any response would be helpful</p>

<p>Asian senior male from PA planning to major in chem, applying ED to the College
SATS: 790 M 750 CR 680 W
800 Chem, 760 Bio M, 800 Math IIC </p>

<p>GPA: 97/100 unweighted 99 weighted (5/ 436) with upward trend and 7 total APs</p>

<p>ECs: not that impressive... but i do a lot of out of school stuff with my church like Church Worship Leader, Youth Group Leader, English Teacher in China for a week
School ECs: 1st Violin in string, full Orchestra, Key Club, Tri-M Music Honor Society, Varsity Spring Track, JV winter track, 200+ hours of community service
Also, I've been doing these activities since 9th grade, so I guess that shows commitment and dedication</p>

<p>looks good to me...your activities seem good enough...you dont have to do something amazingly impressive to get into columbia (contrary to what others on this board might say) you are in HS, its hard to find oppertunities...go for columbia ED though...good luck.</p>

<p>i think you should do it. even if your video does not directly lead to the admission's decision, it will definitely set you apart. after all, it can't hurt (in most cases).</p>
