Ed countdown

**TEN DAYS!

Ch0c0lat3 - I meditate on occasion when I get to stressed out with life, it helps a lot. :)

gloriachristmas - haha It was mine to! I always got my Dad to watch it with me because he liked the dust bunnies. :P

Kiwi - You may want to call the office just to be on the safe side, but I wouldn’t worry too much because I sent in my counselor rec and transcripts in the same package as everything else and it took them until this past Thursday to put them in the tracking system. So they probably have everything, but you could call or e-mail them just to check.

25 - Hmm I’m going to look into that and post an answer later. I just spent the past 2 hours looking at possible majors though. And now I’m extremely antsy to find out.

Eek, you’ve all messed up my own counting. I don’t know HOW, but I still have 11 days on my calendar, but I guess I can “adjust” it to 10.

Here, because of the time difference, it’s technically nine. At least that’s what the countdown app on my iPod says. Oh man… SO SOON!

All y’all get yours around the 15th, lucky bums.

I live in hong kong so that means I’ll probably get it around the 30th or later.

WHY DOESN’T BARNARD TO ONLINE NOTIFICATION!

ETA: I just read in the So when/how will we receive our ED decisions? thread that I’ll get it through email. I called them last week and the person on the other line said it’s done through snail mail. I am now confused out of my mind.

They send emails to internationals on the 15th (or so it says on their website). And I’m so happy they do, 'cause waiting for so long would be awful!
I hope we get our emails on the 15th. :)

Sorry to be such an -insert a very rude word- but where is it on the website?

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH and this makes me to happy. My friend, whose Vassar ED, and I were complaining about the whole snail mail think because everyone else who ED/EA-ed at my school find out after the 11th through email.

Here  : [Barnard College Admissions](http://barnard.edu/admiss/applying/international.html)

And yeah, it makes me really happy, too!! :D

So where are you from?

ETA: I just read this and life is just too good to me right now.

I live in Denmark, but I’m a dual American/Danish citizen.

NINE DAYS!

last year some international students got their emails on the 13th, which was a saturday

Oh, really? Oh wow… That makes me even more anxious! :D

hehe  just take it as the 15th. so if it comes before that it will be a surprise!

did any of you international students have interviews?

Yeah, that’s probably a good idea.
I had an interview this summer when I was there for the summer program.

ahh lucky u. i never got to have one. they dont have alumnae who live close enough to me :(

I’m pretty sure that they won’t hold that against you. They told us that interviews were completely optional.

**NINE DAYS **

I’ve noticed that the Barnard board has about 9,880 posts or so. Let’s try and get it up to 10,000 by the end of the year.

By the way, if anyone else wants to try this bold thing, then copy and paste

[ size=+1][ color=green][ b] ?? DAYS [ /b][ /color][ /size]

REMOVE THE SPACES in the html code before entering. And it doesn’t have to be green, it can be any color you want. Or any size.

so, do you think they know by now who they are accepting and rejecting, or is it too soon after the deadline? I was checking back through the posts to see if there were any tricks to figure out before you got the letter, but they all depend on whether or not they have decided yet (obviously).

They probably know for the most part, but have some border-liners to decide upon.

I didn’t get an interview. I was under the impression that you had to visit the US to get an interview so I missed out.

Oh wow, I am actually terrified now. Most of my friends here are finding out this Friday/Saturday (due to the time difference), and thats right before our, for those of you who take IB, Official IB English Oral Exam.

Hey does anyone know what the chance are of getting deferred? I really really do not want to be pushed back.

ahh that must be stressful. lucky us. we have our individual oral exam in february :)
