OK. I am creating a New Thread. This will be the only time I answer this question. Last year I had to answer these types of questions a million times. So one thread...that is it.

ED DECISIONS WILL BE RELEASED ON DECEMBER 15TH

(1) No they will not be released sooner than that.
(2) On December 15, first all the decisions are dropped off at the main postal center in Downtown Baltimore.
(3) Once all decisions are out of our hands and into the postal system then we begin sending e-mails. We send decision e-mails to all applicants, not just those admitted.
(4) We send e-mails to all Early Decision applicants who provided an e-mail address in their application. We send to that e-mail address only. We do not re-send e-mails. Those students who do not get an e-mail must then wait for the mail to arrive.
(5) Our office closes early on decision release day. We will not accept phone calls or respond to e-mails until after the weekend.
(6) Finally, there is not set time frame during the day when the e-mails will be sent. Finding out what time the e-mails were sent last year or the year before that will not tell you anything about what time they will be sent on December 15.

And oh yeah, all of this is subject to change if need be.
