ED/EA Results

Just a question that I am curious about...For those who have applied to EA/ED, the admissions would probably have chosen their accepted candidates...(almost)...or no...? Is it that they look over the applicants all the way to December or is it that their results just happen to be sent out on December 15th?

i was wondering this too, because my school had just sent in my senior first quarter grades and its crucial they see my grades...

I don't know if they are constantly reviewing or do them one-at-a-time until they finish, but I do know, from other threads, that ED decisions often arrive earlier than Dec. 15, sometimes as early as Dec.7th. Hope it helps.

I heard from a friend that they are about done by now. They need some time to put all the material they have to mail together and to get the decisions on-line and whatnot. So pretty much, all is [almost] done... apparently.

is it common for ED results to arrive a few days earlier than the 15th or is that just the day they're sent out and I should expect to wait a few days after the 15th?

Depending on the school, results will come in either on or before the 15th (if they say that it'll be in BY the 15th). Schools like Cornell moved their results day forward to the 19th, so you have to look at the school's website for the latest update.
