Dear Early Decision Applicant,

Thank you for the dedication and commitment that you have shown to Emory during your college search. Once again, we were amazed by the academic merits and personal accomplishments of our record-breaking applicant pool. Each applicant was thoroughly reviewed and given full consideration in our admission process. We are excited to announce that the decisions for the Early Decision 1 applications were mailed today, Thursday, December 15.
Emorys policy dictates that our applicants are notified through the U.S. Postal Service. The delivery of these letters can take up to ten business days, excluding federal holidays. We truly believe there is something special about receiving your decision by mail, thus we will not release any decisions by phone, email, or online. We understand this is an anxious time of year and ask for your continued patience. The admission staff wishes you the best and looks forward to working with you in the future.

Sincerely,
