ED GW or BU

<p>Hi, I am a Junior at a highly competitive high school in New York, and am really worried about the college-process. I have a good weighted gpa of around 4.0 (will DEFINITELY increase by the end of this year), but not so good unweighted gpa of just over 3.0. I am also expecting to get around a 2000 on the SATs. Because of this, I am thinking about applying ED to either GW or BU. Please give me some feedback because I'd really like to know my chances. As well, if there is any other school I could get into with these scores, please let me know. Thanks</p>

<p>Hey man, I was recently admitted ED to the Class of 2017. Your 3.0 GPA is not really competitive for BU or GWU. These two schools are very similar in stats, but I’d say that GWU has a slightly higher GPA and SAT. But you do have a 4.0 Weighted which is fairly well. If you do in fact score a 2000 on your SAT, GWU would be a high match and BU a low match. Good Luck on your application. I have a brother who is a senior at BU, make sure to visit each school. BU and GWU both have a very urbane campus type, but you can definently distinguish the rest of the city from the college at both schools. If you want to major in Political Science, GWU is your sure bet. BU has an edge in engineering, GWU has the lead in all Social Sciences. BU has better program in Sciences.</p>
