PS-My essay was quite silly, and my YourSpace was half very serious half somewhat witty and silly too. I also chose a very comical picture for the optional picture section on the hard application. Does Vassar appreciate humor in their applications? I know I am certainly at least to be considered I figured I would try to make my application as different as I could.

bumb........

C'mon guys, 120 plus views, please help me out.

Hi Todd,
I really have no idea, as my son applied ED and we are on eggshells this week, but your average seems around the middle range, but your ACTs are good, at 75% for Vassar and your SATs seem OK, about a 675 each? I think your ACTs are better. Your ECs seem good, plus you work during the school year, too. You are very similar to my son, except that he did not do silly on his application, which he is worrying was a mistake.
Don't forget Vassar got 1776 male applicants and took 707, while they got 4299 female applicants and took only 1122, which is a much lower percentage, but from what I found, the males had stats as high as the ladies. But your chances are better as a male.

So - what do I know?? But I think you look good. Good luck!!!

Thank you so much Adigal. I don't know what it is but for some reason people can never decide on whether they think silliness is a good thing or not. It seems every other person I ask goes the other way. I wish your son the best of luck. Please let me know how he does, if he is EDI he hears back at the end of the week no? I wish my mother knew so much about any college as you know about Vassar, I am the oldest child in my house so I have pretty much done everything.

If any one else knows to what extent Vassar approves of humor let me know;)

If you need help with anything, let me know. Most of the parents on this forum are very willing to help the other students.
