ED II ==> huge dilemma!

So, I was thinking, pomona is probably one of my top schools, not that I stand much of a chance getting in, but you know, it seems really nice, looks beautiful, nutures you on your way through college, etc. I am thinking about maybe doing ED II, even though I live in PA, have not visited, and may be taking a risk ? Do you think it's worth it? Even so, I posted my stats below so maybe I can get a better idea of which plan to utilize..I realize that it's better to do ED to pomona, BUT...having not visited, not sure what to do. thanks :D

9th grade: gpa = 3.64(uw)/3.90(w) Rank = 88/290 (w)
10th grade: gpa=3.793(uw)/3.999(w) Rank = 55/317(w) and 44/317 (uw)
11th grade: gpa=3.80(uw)/4.059(W) Rank = 42/317 (w) and 34/317 (uw)
12th grade: gpa=3.79 (uw) 4.15 (w) Rank = ... hmm ... it went down >:O

Thank you if you read this

You have not visited. Do not apply ED. You do not know what the campus is like and do not know what the kids are like. I don't think anyone would recommend locking in with a college you have never seen before.

this might just be me, but I recommend you cutting out ecs that you did for only one year that are insignificant (like Anime Club - grade 9)

having that many ecs looks a bit like padding to me.
then again, I am merely one opinion

its an amazing campus (i applied ed I... haven't heard back yet) but its definitely a place u could love or hate. VISIT before you apply ed

seriously, ed is only for people who know for sure that this is their first choice school. I advise you not to put ED

I agree with all of the previous posters. Before D applied ED, she had visited Pomona plus all of the other schools on her list. Applying ED needs to be an informed decision, not just an afterthought.
