<p>Can I apply ED II to NYU if I don't get into a school to which I apply ED as well? </p>

<p>For example, in my case, I'm applying ED to Johns Hopkins, so I have to send my application in November. I'll be receiving a notification of acceptance, deferral, or rejection by December. If I get rejected or deferred, could I then apply ED II to NYU, since it is my second choice school? </p>

<p>Yes, otherwise ED II would be pointless now, wouldn’t it?
Just know that you get your decision around February 15 and it’s binding.
Also, you are in a completely separate application pool from regular decision and ED I kids.</p>
