ED in-state chances for William and Mary

<p>Okay so just stating before I give my stats- i know that William and Mary is a very far off reach for me... but I gotta atleats try!</p>

<p>sat's (old score, just math and verbal)- 1220 (eck! i know)
gpa- 3.97
class rank- 23 (out of 567)
EC- Editor in Chief of School Newspaper, Drama/ Thespian Honor Society all four years (and I noted I had many leads), Dance (since I was a little kid), World of Difference Society, and other honor societies and such
Awards- alternate for girls state, finalist for Virginia PIlot summer program, and a lot of small things like honor society awards, academic letters, and drama competition winner (two years)</p>

<p>Again, I do know that it is a reach, but I am in-state and I applied early-decision. PLease be honest... my chances???</p>

I think the essays I wrote were done really well andthe most original part of my application.</p>

<p>sat scores are kinda low. is that gpa weighted or unweighted?</p>

<p>i'd say its a slight reach.</p>

<p>If that gpa is uw, it definitely makes up for the slightly low SATs (which aren't terrible to being with).</p>

<p>no =/ thats not my unweighted gpa... i dont even know what that would be... maybe a 3.8?</p>

<p>but my friend (who lives like 4 streets over from me) got her letter today and she was accepted... her gpa i think is slightly lower than mine bt her sat's were better (1280)</p>

<p>ohmygosh im so nervous... and mad at my mailman for not waiting until my letter came in till he began his route!</p>
