<p>Okay, so I'm out of state and have had good grades freshman/sophomore year, but my grades weren't as good my junior year as I had anticipated. I'm applying ED.</p>

<ul>
<li>Freshman year: 4 honors, 4 electives. 7 A's and 1 B in honors geometry</li>
<li>Sophomore year: 4 honors, 2 foreign language, 2 electives. 7 A's and 1 B in honors chemistry.</li>
<li>Junior year: 3 AP's, 5 honors (two of which were foreign language). 3 A's (honors Theater 3, honors Law and Justice, and honors Spanish 3), 4 B's (APUSH, AP English, AP Environmental, Honors pre-calc), 1 C (Honors Spanish 4... will be explained in a letter. Teacher hands out 1-2 A's per class, a few more B's... and inevitably a lot of C's)</li>
</ul>

<p>Senior year I'll be taking a rigorous course load.</p>

<p>GPA after this year: 3.6/4.0
Class Rank: 39ish/571 (hasn't updated yet)
SAT: 1940 first try, more than likely at least a 2000 the second. I haven't gotten scores back yet.</p>

<p>However... my EC's are really strong, which is also why I suffered junior year LOL.</p>

<p>Freshman year
- JV cheerleading; cheerleader of the year award
- BriarPatch Youth Improv Troupe
- "Twelfth Night" (play); lead role
- "The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood" (play)</p>

<p>Sophomore year
- Student Council
- "As You Like It" (play)
- BriarPatch Youth Improv Troupe
- Library Page at the local library</p>

<p>Junior year
- Junior class president
- Planned prom (chair person of committee) for 2013
- National Honors Society (service club)
- National Technical Honors Society (service club)
- "Pippin" (musical)
- Reading to ESL kids to improve reading (happening this summer)</p>

<p>Senior year (soon to come, but this stuff is all set in stone)
- Student Body president
- Planning prom (chair person of committee) for 2014
- Planning/organizing "Cinderella Project" (event that will allow students to afford prom through dresses, tuxes, dinner reservations, prom tickets, limos, etc.)
- National Honors Society
- National Technical Honors society; on executive board</p>

<p>If you've made it this far in a rising seniors frantic post... I commend you. Anyone who could provide insight would be great. :) Thanks!</p>

<p>It’s so hard to say, especially as an OOS. Right now your stats seem low…but you never know…your ECs seem average with most W&M applicants, your GPA is a bit low and you should get your SAT above a 2000. Make sure you make contact with admissions, visit campus and write strong essays. Will you have strong rec letters?</p>
