Hey guys does anyone know when we get to make our room selections...is it in Feb.?

Yeah, I believe it is in Feb. Which halls are you leaning towards?

Rubin - 1st
Hayden - 2nd

(going for the low cost triples)

nice nice nice.

i MIGHT see you in hayden..:p

cept im going

Uhall, Brittany, Hayden

so idk :p

ey, U-hall firewalker. If you like Korean women you go there.

You'll get forms within the next month or so, and you'll have to prioritize your list of dorms. In early August, you'll get your room assignment and your roommate's name and phone number.

I just wanna effing get into NYU. That's all I'm asking for God!

How amenable is the housing department to roommate request; that is to say, if my friend and I were to want to room together at UHall with two other (unknown) students, would we be able to swing that? Also, UHall versus Third Avenue North, what is the general consensus?

What about Brittany? So we just randomly get roommates? I'm kinda confused, sorry :(

Yes you can do that.
I think U-Hall is much better than Third Avenue North. Although 3rd Avenues apartments are a little more spacious, U-hall has better location (next to Union Square) and it is more modern.

In terms of proximity to campus they are probably the same.

i wonder what the incoming transfers get. i want to room at hayden (if i get in) since i am the same age as all of the incoming freshman.

Doesn't matter what age you are, it's unlikely you'll be placed with freshman. Transfers usually get whatever is leftover. Sad, but true.

yea the transfer deadline is april 1, everything will be picked over by then :(. i think i will get stuck in brittany.
