When the time will come, will they send out admissions by priority mail for intls too? i'm for romania, how long would it take?

I'm kinna sad cause the pton ppl haven't written me anything yet. I asked for a paper app several times, back in august, and haven't received anything. No post card yet either; thank god for the ups ppl, at least i know that my app is somewhere in the town of Princeton... (: ... took 24 h to get there, at least this was a nice surprise... if it would only take just as long on the way back... uuu...

Oh, and if, say, on 19-20 dec i still haven't received anything, can i call them?! and actually get a yes/maybe/no answer? that's a frightening thought, but drinking champagne early next year with a lump in my throat, not knowing and expecting the worst, that's just as bad... what to dooo?

Heh, I live on a US Air Force Base in Germany, asked for an application packet back in July or August... never came. Asked for one in September... never came. Asked for one in october... didn't come.

On November 2nd, 3 princeton packets get delivered.

heh.

And no, I haven't gotten any notification that they got my app. With my luck, I may not get it until next year =)

I'm expecting 'em about 10-15 dec. So that i'll see an envelope with princeton on it, my heart-beat will go crazy, i'll open it slooooowly, and find an empty app.

They priority mail stuff overseas, so you'll get it. At least it seems like all the internationals from last year got their stuff. You can call them though, like December 16 and ask.

I disagree with Zant on this point. Last year there were quite a few international students (at least one from India) who did not receive their applications, decisions or postcards in time. In fact, one student got a postcard saying his application was incomplete and his SAT scores were missing about 2 days before the final decisions were mailed, and weeks after they had already made ED decisions....
I don't mean to scare you, but if you're having mail problems, I think calling them direct is the best solution. Traditionally though, yes: acceptances are mailed priority. But if you don't get anything by Dec. 15 don't panic - it could be the mail.

Oh definitely call to make sure they have your application! And then it won't be a problem if you don't get your packet for decisions, then you can always call.

is it reasonable to call them after, say, 16 dec? isn't that too early? but i really want to call them asap after 15 dec before i send my regular application to other universities. i'm not applying for fee waiver but the application fees ARE a burden for my family.
besides the stupid mailing system in indonesia, i'm also worried that the letter may be sent to singapore. my worry became worse when i actually received the postcard about their receiving my app while i was in singapore! i don't think i gave my singapore address to any universities and, surprisingly, the postcard was sent to the correct singapore's address. so how? any suggestion? i'm very sure i won't be in singapore this coming december... should i call them to 'correct' my mailing address? or should i just wait and call them after 16 dec if i haven't received the decision letter?
