And I did EA at GSU, and at Tulane. I really, REALLY want to go to Oxford, though… Hence the ED application there. =P Ohh I’m also sending an app to University of West Georgia (rolling admissions) but only as a safety safety… they already accepted me to the honors college upon seeing my SAT scores and transcript, even though I haven’t sent in my actual application yet… Odd.

If I don’t get in then I have a bunch more applications to do, though… Which will be a shame, because nowhere else I’ll apply to really comes close to Emory or Oxford. If I don’t get in, I’m applying to American, Trinity College, Wake Forest, and UGA.

But I really want to get into Oxford or Emory… The other schools don’t compare!

^BEST COUNTDOWN EVER
They may post the decisions at 8 am
And oxford posts their decisions at the same time right? I read on a forum that they post at an earlier time

One of my roommates applied ED to Oxford, and posted a status as soon as she found out she was in. Last year they posted decisions at 6:00PM Atlanta time, but they might change it this year

Same, ahah. I really need to finish my FAFSA and CSS Profile… But my dad dreads paperwork, so 13 pages of it doesn’t sit well with him. However, he calculated his annual income and he does make under $50K, so I would get the loan to grant program, if I get in… Yet another reason to hope I get in!

Crud… Does it have to be? I’ve been bothering my dad about this for months, he just has ADD, doesn’t have any of his financial materials in order, and would rather spend his weekends doing other things. Last time I got him to finish ONE page of the CSS Profile… Out of like 13.

Great… Did some reading, appears I’ve missed all of the deadlines. Lovely. I told my dad I need his tax returns… THIS SUMMER! Nagged him about it almost every 2 weeks… Obviously it’s done no good. I’m ready to kill someone.

Don’t worry, you’ll still get financial aid, you’ll just have to wait a little longer before they tell you your estimate but stress your dad about doing the papers, they’re worth it in the long run haha

He’s only done his taxes through 2009… So that’s why he was so reluctant about all of this. Great. If I get in, can I defer enrollment for a year and apply for financial aid in next year’s cycle?

Aleyna, oxford scholars aren’t released until April I believe like the winners, did you apply for aid? And, Eli ohhh I see what happened… I don’t know if you can defer enrollment if you applied early decision because remember, early is binding

But you can still apply for aid! Just whenever you get the papers done, apply… as long as it’s before like march or something. Does your OPUS specify for anything besides fafsa CSS and tax forms?
