<p>Paper is on vacation until 1/4/07 you probably will not know the #s until the ED decisions come out next week (then there will be an update to the paper)</p>
<p>If you remember last year, ED applications rose about 12% (I believe), and the admit rate was still about 30%. It would be nice to know how many applied (especially given the whole debate about Early Decision recently), but, unless there was an extraordinary increase - or decrease - in applications, I doubt it will make much a difference as far as admissions goes.</p>
<p>I've totally disregarded that "30%" number, anyway. It's greatly inflated by URMs, legacies, and athletic recruits, and frankly I am none of those.</p>
