If I'm planning on applying to Penn ED, I can't apply to UChicago EA right? Even though it's non-restricting?

It's weird because I think UChicago allows it, but Penn doesn't.. can someone clarify if I'm right?

You can apply EA to UChicago, but you must still come to Penn if accepted ED.

You also need to be lucky with your guidance counselor for that, as he/she will not be happy with two possible early decisions at once.

Um. No?
It's not two EDs. UofC only has EA, which just allows you to apply and receive acceptance rejection letters earlier. ED is binding, and you can only do one. You can do as many EA apps as you want with ED (Unless they specify you cannot. Such as Stanford, Yale (SCEA). Georgetown does not allow you to apply EA if you have any ED apps out, but you can have concurrent EA apps. Just check with the school's website.)

I'm personally applying to both UofC and Penn. EA and ED respectively. There isn't a conflict here.
