I just received my rejection letter from Seattle University (not a surprise). My grades aren’t the best - i switched majors because i couldn’t pass chemistry to save my life despite three tries and failed a math class too. Then going back up it was bumpy with a few C’s and B/A’s. Overall i have a 3.1 GPA at my community college with about 120 credits. I want to do a direct transfer to college, but honestly I want to try again for Seattle University. I applied for the fall early decision and the letter makes it sound like they would like to have me IF i can raise my GPA. I am going to call admissions and talk to someone about a plan so that i can apply for 2016 Fall. I am thinking i can retake the low grade classes and boost my GPA that way, or just go to CWU which is kind of a crappy school but I could go for one year and transfer to SU (I am not sure if that is possible but i want to try). Or I can just take some new classes and do better to boost my GPA. I had a good solid letter, i’ve worked hard at my job and recently quit to focus solely on schoolwork and am going for Undergrad in Finance. I also have an internship I will be working on part time from now until i graduate with a BA. Suggestions are welcome! Also, I have a list of schools in Washington i will be applying to for winter 2015 admissions. Ideas will be great!
