<p>Hey guys, if I ED, Cornell will not look at any of my senior year grades in making a decision right?</p>
<p>They will. Not only will they look at the beginning of the year senior grades, they will request mid year and end report card.</p>
<p>I’m talking about the initial admissions decision (not submitting final transcript after I have been hopefully accepted) for ED. Wouldn’t the decisions be out (Dec 15th) before the midyear reports are available?</p>
<p>My daughter’s ED packet included her mid semester unofficial grades for senior year. A parent posted that Dartmouth called her son’s school to get his mid semester grade before they made their decision.</p>
<p>I don’t remember when decisions come out (like december?), but my school had finals in January 2 weeks after coming back from winter break. so there’s not much they can do in that case.</p>
<p>So if there are grades and they can get their hands on them, they probably will.</p>
