<p>I think you haavre a good chance if your essay shines like a sword in the night. I know this girl who got into Johns Hopkins with a 3.5 Gpa and 1800 Sats but she had a really fgood essay. Your ACT is good, your GPA is dec. I mean, a 3.8 Gpa is pretty hard. I like your E.C.'s but you need more math E.c.s</p>
<p>Everyone sounded rather discouraging, but I know those New England private schools: they’re tough, but they really know the colleges. If your guidance counselor says you have a shot, go for it. The scores are fine, and ED is a good option for you, especially since you know what you want. Good luck!</p>

Have a very impressive essay and excellent recommendation from your teachers and adviser.
Follow the college office say, I don’t know which BS you are but usually they are pretty strong at college guidance. </p>
