ED vs. RD

My GPA: below colgate's average
SAT score: lower part of the middle range
ECs: very solid
Essays: Pretty Good (writing is definitely my strength)
Recommendations: Excellent</p>

<p>Colgate is my reach school and I've been debating whether or not to apply ED2 or RD. Which one would help/hurt my chances? Money isn't really an issue. Thanks for the input!</p>

<p>Early Decision always helps boost your chances by at least double the RD acceptance rate. If Colgate is your number one school, then you should definitely do it!</p>
