Other Factors: sent in supplementary video of basketball game with commentators blowing me up way out of proportion:) and an elaboration about my dedication to coaching little kids with pictures

You'll be alright.

I don't know if the vid will help tho, do you have a shot at being recruited?

anyone else?

bumppppppp

I don't think the video will help unless you're being recruited.

Sports involvement does help though, of course.

I don't understand your senior schedule though, are decathlon and basketball classes?

lol., I think we go to the same school...
anyways, I heard from an admissions person from PENN that the supplemental materials don't matter unless it is a big hook for you, ie. joining their sports team/ orchestra/ amazing artist
But your scores are fine and I have seen people with lower reasoning scores get accepted to wharton.
One thing against you is your race and gender. Wharton already has an abnormally high number of asain males( but then, so does alot of the top schools)

thanks. yes decathlon and basketball are periods in the day. it sucks because it means i dont get the opportunity to fill those periods with other curricular classes.

adnilynn, what school do you go to?

That is weird...Basketball as a period? How come you don't have practice after school?
Anyway your GPA/Grades should be a big positive, but the sub 700 on verbal SAT may hurt. Wharton, as other top colleges want people who have math and verbal above 700 usually, unless they are a recruited athlete. Are you one? The video will help nontheless.

bumpin after three daysss

last bump...
