ED1/Elliott Admission question

Hello,

Excellent thread!

I have a question on ED1 and major selection. My plan is to apply ED1 with a 1st choice major of International Affairs. (btw I have a weighted 4.5 GPA; 34 ACT, AP Scholar, and solid EC).

  1. If I am admitted ED is it still binding if admitted to my second choice major?
  2. If not admitted to Elliot how difficult is it to transfer after admission.

Yes, it’s still binding. It’s very easy to transfer to Elliott. You just have to take specific classes and after you’ve got those done, you can transfer over. https://registrar.gwu.edu/undergraduate-internal-transfer
