I know I'm posting this in the Vassar thread, but.. which college would I have better ED2 chances in? I'm an international applicant, applying for finaid. SAT: 2190 (M: 720, W: 670, CR: 800), SAT II: Physics: 780, Chemistry: 800, Math level 2: 760. My transcript and ECs are okay, and my recs are great.

C'mon people, advice... please?

with those numbers..u sure have great chances in both..

Thanks, but that doesn't really help :P.

well I am from Nepal my stats are:
SAT1- 600 CR 790 M 670 W.... 2060 ( giving one more shot in JAN)
SAT2- 770 Physics 790 M! 800 M2...2360
TOEFL 280/ 300
RANK 14/91
Transcript: mostly all A's
EC: quite good
RECOS: impressive I suppose

Had applied Vassar EDI...got deferred.....

I think this might clear up as far as Vassar is concerned...I think its more of the same for Colgate as well

Yeah, I read all about you. I read almost all the threads on the main page. My TOEFL was an iBT 114 / 120 (damn Speaking, I got full marks on the rest), my school doesn't rank, and we don't really have transcripts, but I'm top 10% in my class. We don't have much importance for ECs here :/, but I did pretty okay, poetry nationally published, i founded and edited a magazine, compiled and conducted two city-level quizzes, and was approached to organise a literary campaign for a club with 4500 members (didn't take off, unfortunately.)

I also do aerobics, I've performed in a show, and I have a slight physical disability which causes me to limp.

I hope you get accepted!

Actually, I'm trying to decide between the two, I'm in a huge dilemma.

oh thanks....I hope for the same..your stats look pretty impressive to me..."poetry nationally published, i founded and edited a magazine, compiled and conducted two city-level quizzes,"...believe me those things can only increase ur chances as u already have solid numbers to back them up....Good Luck..and be in touch...

Thank you! The only problem is that my new school, I changed after 10th grade, hates ECs with a vengance, and a lot of these things end with 10th grade.
