So, I basically don't want to be waiting by my computer checking my email every ten seconds come February 1st. I want to know exactly how decisions come out so I don't have to freak out, and so my parents can be there with me when I'm reading it. Do they email or snail mail first? If they snail mail first, how can Reed ensure that they don't email you before you get the snail mail packet? What time of the day do they usually send emails? Do they ever send out decisions before the deadline, or will it be ON February 1st? So many questions...... Answers would be nice. Haha. :-)

You get the e-mail a few days to a week before the hard copy. Mine came around 7 or 7:15, but it could be later. No, no early letters :P

AM or PM? 10 char

From looking at his posts from last year, I assume Matt means seven pm EST.

Reed e-mailed me at around 10pm (GMT+7) and the postmail came 3 days after.

For what it’s worth, my daughter is an EDI. She received her e-mail at 4:56 PM PST on December 14th (one day before results were supposed to come out, but I think that has to do with the 15th being a Saturday).

Hope this helps

OH MY GOSH. DAD. You have the exact time I got the email memorized? Nerd xP

Sorry…A little excited (and proud)
