Hi, so I submitted my application about two weeks ago and signed the ED2 agreement; however, my counselor hasn't agreed with it yet and so middlebury hasn't received my agreement yet. My school is on winter break right now so my counselor won't be able to send it in till January 6. Will I not be considered for ED2 if my agreement isn't in on time?

I believe that as long as it is the counselor, there won’t be an issue. There is a date stamp when you and your parent(s) signed it, so if you all signed it before 1 January, there shouldn’t be a problem as long as they receive it before they are making decisions.

You can only control your end of things… colleges recognize that. Plus, Middlebury is itself on break as well. Just be sure to check in with your counselor to be politely remindful. I would send an email saying something like, I know you are on break but I was just wanting to remind you about the school’s part of EDII agreement that doesn’t yet appear to have been sent. Thank you for your time on my behalf… and then at least the additional request is dated appropriately.
