So I did not know that ED required a paper form that needed to be signed by my counselor so I did not give it to him to submit in the envelope. Is it okay if we send it out once I get back to school the 3rd of January. They give schools some leeway for materials right? please help guys thanks!!!

Email them and tell them what’s up. Then just send the forms ASAP, you’re definitely not the only one, the break is messing up most people’s apps.

The same thing happened to me! But I’m not printing and sending in my form, I am just having my counselor give her electronic signature. I called a couple of days ago asking if it could be submitted by Jan 3rd when we go back to school and the lady on the phone said that it was fine because they will see that it is postmarked on January 3rd and will understand!

The main things that they want in by the deadline are a) the common app and b) the supplements. Everything else, transcripts, recs, etc… they understand that there is going to be a huge backlog, so I wouldn’t worry too much. If you and your parents electronically signed the ED agreement, you should be fine

Don’t worry; it’s fine. The same exact problem arose for me, so I emailed NYU Admissions and they said that I could post-mark it on January 3rd and they would still accept it Murrryy Christmas!
