<p>If I apply ED2 somewhere, and while I'm waiting to hear back, I get admitted to a school I was deferred at for early action earlier, can I withdraw my ED2 app and go to the other school?</p>
<p>In theory, yes, provided you’re not too close to the decision deadline. (You can also switch to RD instead of withdrawing.) But because the decision date for most of ED2 is around Feb. 15, odds are you won’t hear back from any other school before then.</p>
<p>If you were deferred from EA then you will be in the RD batch. It is highly unlikely you will hear from that before an ED2 school.</p>
<p>It’s Michigan and they just release them in batches from sometime soon until april</p>
