I submitted my app last week and still haven't gotten any acknowledgment. I'm getting a little nervous about that already.

yes, they emailed it to me pretty soon after i sent it in, but i sent it in almost 2 weeks earlier than the deadline so maybe thats why they processed it so quickly

Yes but none of the material is actually updated yet for me

yea same here. they sent me the user & pass but they’re still going through all of the materials.

maybe check your spam inbox because that’s where I found my user & pass info

I haven’t yet received my username and password. I submitted my application on Oct 29.

I got this :)

re: Your Early Decision Application

Dear HarvardLegacy,

We have received all materials necessary to begin the review of your Early Decision application. Should we have any questions or require further materials from you, we will contact you directly via email or telephone. If you have not already done so, please check your email address to be sure we have your current email on record.

Early Decision candidates will be notified of their admissions decisions on or before December 15.

We appreciate your interest in Dartmouth and are pleased to be evaluating your application.

Sincerely,

The Dartmouth Admissions Staff

^^i got that same email too, but i just sent my stuff in last weekend (oct 30).

however, i did send in an information form back in september notifying them i was applying ED, so that’s why i recieved the email so early.

i wouldnt worry

OK, I got the message today. Phew

has anyone gotten their interview yet? What is the time range they should be contacting you for one? Because I definitely know there’s a volunteer alum in my area

@username13 where do you live?

I turned my application in on Saturday and I was contacted about the interview two days after the deadline. The interview doesn’t matter too much so I wouldn’t sweat it.

If you live in an urban area you should be contacted really soon.

For the time frame, my interviewer told me that I had to get the interview done in the next two weeks (had interview this Thursday). I would check your account, maybe they haven’t received all your materials yet.

I have the same message as harvardlegacy a few posts back… but have not yet gotten an e-mail for an interview. Every year there’s been an interviewer around my area (ive asked some ppl from last year) so is it just a lil bit later?

maybe you live in an area where there are a lot of EDers so they are a shortage of alums right now.

I think you should get an email by at least Thursday of next week, and if you don’t have an interview it really does not have a huge affect on your admissions decision so I wouldn’t worry about.

I got the message that said all my admissions materials were received, but I too have not gotten the interview e-mail.

Relax: interviews have to be done 2 weeks after the interviewer gets the names. They first go to the alum area coordinator and he/she then has to dole them out to individual interviewers. I know an alum who got the email last Wed. and was contacting people last night—makes sense, something they would do on a weekend/downtime. Also, fyi, the business about the first cut is total bologna. Since only 1 person on here has been contacted, don’t sweat it.
To those of us who applied way, way early: we’ve prob. been read by now. How’s that feel?
What’s done is done I guess.
I am really, really curous about the # of EDs, tho, why they haven’t said anything and what ever happened to increasing the class size? All that’s been quiet.

I got my username and password like two weeks ago, because I submitted my supplement, test scores, and transcript more than three weeks ago. However, I turned in my Common App on November 1st. I got the email telling me they received all my materials about a week ago.
