oivay, thats a good point. I think it helps for a stressful time as this one (not even just with ED coming up, but with other apps we have to do, and with testing, and with competition) to focus on other things. Like not grades because that's too in line with what we are stressing about, but the subject itself. Or, focusing on our friends' love lives :). Or, reading and focusing on the author's friend's love lives.
I was stressing . When I opened up the NYT this morning, though, I looked at all the terrible things that were happening and felt better... and I don't mean to be cliche' by this either. I was happy I was not that girl in the NJ car accident- or her mother- or even living a few towns away from me where there is a high crime rate and poor performing schools. I am lucky to even have such an opportunity as Columbia.
A positive attitude that will make this whole stressful college process go by smoothly is an attitude that will help later in life, I think... it's good to learn from this

It's soooo boring now. For the past two weeks, everyone in my class just did harry potter quizzes on the internet (we have two people who are crazy about it). But we're always like 1-2 weeks behind so over the break, our sponsor person burned us DVDs with four lessons on it so we could catch up. In fact I have to finish watching it now. Can't wait to see her brightening up my computer screen here at home! Haha.

LOL her face. turn on family guy and compare it. We were like i wonder if she can do the "laugh." If it doesn't make u mad, i skipped multi for like 4 classes and took the test the day before Thanksgiving. lol
