I know what you mean, Borneoboy, I love reading Mads Vassar Blog and looking at the pictures from the Sesquicentennial Website. Anything Vassar related is my favorite form of procrastination.

I got an email around 11 am this morning telling me the same info samisbond posted.
yayay

K so basically this week could not be going any slower…and it’s only Monday. I guess it’s cool that we have an official day though!

Gah thank god us New York public school kids are on regents week, I could not HANDLE going to school with all this apprehension. My stomach is in knots.

mcgroovy: a BIG LIKE to your post. gosh i wish all of us can be spared from the wait, and that the admission officers will be benevolent enough to juz give us a GREEN light. im so anxious from the waittt!

i got the email too. less than 5 days to go.

I keep logging onto the website and looking at the dopey family sledding down the hill. It’s the only type of solace I can find right now.

And, yes, I am aware that we’ll know on Friday at 5:00. I’ll probably have an aneurysm if the admissions people are a minute late.

i got the e-mail too ok so shouldn’t they have decided by now?

What time did you get the email? They may have sent the accepted candidates and rejected out in separate batches. Duke did that. I got mine 1/24 at 1051 am.

@rejected101

I got mine at 10:47 the same day. But why would they do that? I mean it seems unnecessarily cruel to send us an email telling us that we’ll have the answer in 4 days instead of just sending the decisions directly.

Ah I got mine at 10:48, so if they are sending them out in batches, we’re all in the same boat. Gah, only three more days!

I got the email at the same time too!!! This has to be the SLOWEST week ever!!!

2 days, 21 hours, and 24 min! (yes, I have a countdown)

sooo… does anyone else think its possible that if they mail out the decisions, possibly tomorrow, they might arrive before Friday at 5 PM? At least for those of us who live in the northeast…

Nice to know others are waiting by nervously! Instead of writing my AP english paper, I just stalked Vassar’s websit in anticipation. She must be nuts thinking I can write during this week!

So glad that so many other thing people here are just stalking Vassar constantly…aka that’s what I’ve been doing all week.

wads the countdown now!!! someone someone?! @.@

2 days and 1 hour.

Soooo. I’m snowed in…and won’t have school until Friday (maybe not even now that there’s supposed to be 1ft of snow).

There’s NOTHING to keep my mind off of this!!! Boo :(

my gudness madeleine, i understand how u feel. hope u’ll keep ur mind away from this, and enjoy ur 2 days off. :)

Ah!!!
so close.
I can’t wait!
did vassar ever release what their increases in ED1 and 2 apps were?
usually they release that early

I’m personally enjoying my 18 inches/snowday on long island;)
TOMORROW

I never thought I’ll say this, but I’m so glad I have to go to the dentist tomorrow. This way I might forget about Vassar for more than an hour.
