edinburgh biomed (neuroscience)

Hey guys. I know that on edinburgh’s admission stats page it says that if you have the minimum entry requirements, you’ll probably be accepted to anything except medicine & veterinary medicine (in which international participation is limited to 7% so it’s gotta be really hard). But when they say “medicine and veterinary medicine” do they mean the college (including all biomed courses?) or just those specific 2 degrees?
Basically, do I have any chance at acceptance at edinburgh’s neuroscience, since it falls under the college of medicine & veterinary medicine?
I have ACT 35, Bio 5, Psych 5
my relevant future ap tests (and predicted): chem 5, calc 5, stats 5, phys 5
i have some other irrelevant ones (like eng, chinese, etc.) but i don’ think they’ll care right?

Right.

Medicine is limited for internationals b/c of placement rules in the NHS, but you are fine for biomedical sciences. Sounds as if you already know that an offer is likely to be conditional on getting your predicted AP scores, most likely Chem & Calc.

Tip: when you are writing your Personal Statement (essay) for the application, remember that it is a statement of why you should be in the Biomed/Neuroscience course, and what you have done that shows both interest and aptitude for the subject. You might find this helpful:
