The requirements are quite low (1800 on the SAT, 600 min. in critical reading & math, 2 4s on APs) compared to mine (2010 on SATs, 4 on 1 AP, awaiting results from 2 others). Does anyone know anything about the admissions process because it really does seem like a university I would love?

Btw, I'm currently a student in CA, USA. Thanks!

Thanks for making this topic! I didn't know about this uni and looked into it and liked it very much. I'm sorry I can't help you with the admissions process since it is most probably different for US and EU(like me) students. Good luck!

All I know about UK admissions is that it's primarily stats-driven, and some colleges (like Oxford and Cambridge) require interviews that are extremely vital.

Outside the top 5 of so universities it's relatively easy to get into UK schools if you have the stats they ask for. Interviews are also rare outside of Oxbridge and London unis (though occasionally specific subjects may require an interview). Also, they have to accept a certain number of full-fee paying foreign students (there is no such thing as financial aid) to subsidise the home students, so if you can pay you're almost certainly in.

Okay, thanks everyone :)
Edinburgh was considered one of the most prestigious UK schools according to several surveys I visited, so I'm still unsure of the application process.
Oh well, I suppose I will find out soon enough.

you can have access to info on uk schools and apply to uk schools through ucas (the universities and colleges admissions system); the website: UCAS Home Page or direct to edinburgh website: The University of Edinburgh.
