Hi,
I am new to college confidential and this is my first post!
I have been looking at edinburgh university lately but I cannot find much about what it takes to get in as an international student. I have decent grades and am interested in the U.K because of cheaper prices and because I have citizenship so I could potentially get even lower rates if I stayed long enough...I like science and history :)
Grades
overall average: 3.95, 4.0 for last two years (I'm in junior year), 3.8 first semester freshman year
5 on AP Euro
taking AP comp/ Ap us, chem, physio, pre calc
taking college level spanish
planning to take ap chem, ap bio, physics
sat-- i have not taken the sat, only the psat (without preparing) got around 190

also does anyone know anything about the university... what its like?
Thanks!

Welcome to College Confidential! I recommend using the Search function to look for information about Edinburgh. (After entering Edinburgh as the search word, click the “Show Posts” option so you won’t have to sift through tons of threads to find the posts about UofE.)

Although UofE doesn’t have its own forum, the Study Abroad forum has several posts about it. Here are two in particular that you might find interesting for starters:
