Editions of prep books

Does the edition of the ap prep books matter much. I bought the 2006-2007 edition of ap chem (PR) without realizing there was a 2008 edition. Does that matter much/ What stuff do they include in the newer edition that wouldn't be in the older edition?

i have the same question

It might matter for Chem b/c the format of the test just changed last year. I don't think it will be that big of a deal, however, the new format is actually pretty easy and you can read about it at ap central.

It will definitely matter for Comp Sci b/c of case study change as well. For other tests, it won't matter.

its cost only like one dollar more but I just somehow missed it, wow I can get so stupid sometimes

so other than the format, most of the other stuff's still the same right? like the content/material, things we have to know for it

i used the 2006-2007 AP Chemistry Princeton Review Book last year, and that was the year where the format of the AP test changed. I was fine. I got a 5. content's the same and everything.

It's weird that when PR wrote the book for 06-07 year, they stuck with the old format and didn't say anything about changes. I'll probably go buy the 08 edition though, thanks for the inputs
