Anyone know how easy this class is? I am looking for a super easy 3 credit class to enter into my schedule since IU amped up the available amount of hours to 18. I have already taken SPH-H 180 and am thinking about SPH-F 255. Just curious if anyone knows of any other classes that require minimal effort haha.

There is a group of very easy classes that meet in second-eight weeks of fall and spring semesters that can only be signed up for beginning about five or six weeks into the semester. They all have the same course number, but have different topics and often are taught by the same instructors year after year, so you can use past grade distributions to find easy grading ones. Don’t be scared away by low class gpa for many of them, as long as the instructor gives out a reasonable number of A’s. A lot of the students in these classes are not coming back to IUB the next semester or next year, so there motivation for a good grade is very low. A lot of the classes are online.

EDUC-U 212 (not to be confused with the Hudson Holland seminar, which has the same course number, but is 3 credits)
Title: CURR ISSUES IN UNDERGRAD LIFE – 2 credits

I think you can’t sign up for these before the semester starts because, for lack of a better term, they are “rescue” classes designed for students who drop credits during the first half of the semester and fall into the less-than-full-time student category. These classes are designed to get students an easy two credits to help them pass 12 credits in a semester, as this is very important for financial aid and other reasons.
