Education interruption in Common Application

<p>I am taking a year out after high school i.e before getting admission in a university. Which option should I use to answer this.
"Please indicate if your progression through secondary school was or will be delayed or interrupted in any way."</p>

<p>Should I select the option of gap year here? I am not familiar with American education system so am confused :/</p>

<p>I’m doing the same thing - yes, click gap year. You will have to write a statement talking about your year and why you took it, etc.</p>
