EE vs Operations Research Major? Help!

I'm trying to decide between the two. EE is a very marketable degree, and it's kind of cool learning how most of our appliances and technology work. It has a HUGE workload though.

OR has a lot of the same classes as EE, but no papers or labs. It seems like it's less marketable, too.

Job prospects straight out of college don't matter because I go to a military academy and am guarenteed a job after graduation. I want to go to flight school, but it's extremely competitive.

So...do you think EE or OR is better for me? Thanks!

OR has good job prospects. The Bureau of Labar Statistics expects it to grow much faster then normal – [Operations Research Analysts](http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos044.htm). The military uses OR for everything from wargaming to logistics planning and the Naval Postgrad School has a good graduate program. I don’t think you can go wrong with either degree. I’d explore both and pick the one that is most interesting to you.
