Hey fellow Wellesley hopefuls!

I'm a senior from Canada. I have a question for you guys. Do you think I should apply for EE now and not have an interview or apply for RD with an interview request?

The interview request for EE had already past so I can't request for one. So i thought maybe i should apply under RD and request for an interview. After all i think the only benefit of EE is that you get a decision heads up before April. But then keep in mind since i don't live in the states it's likely I won't get an interview even if I requested one.

What do you think I should do? (^.^) thanks for the help and merry Christmas!

Request one and then see? If you are able to get an interview, I would highly encourage you to just do RD and get an interview. I was facing the same dilemma when I was thinking about applying ED (except instead of getting an interview it was to work on my essays more). Id rather get in eventually rather than be impatient and get a rejection early.

Hard to say, really. I applied EE and let the interview deadline pass without requesting one (just from lack of attention, oops!) and (obviously) I was admitted. Honestly I feel that in most cases if you are going to be admitted RD with an interview then you are going to be admitted EE without interview (and if you didn’t get in EE without an interview, you wouldn’t get in RD with an interview), but there’s simply no way to know. So the only thing to do is whatever gives you the most peace of mind; it seems like maybe applying RD and requesting an interview might be the right choice for you. Good luck!
