sexydesi, what do you mean when you say it "isnt for everyone?" There is no one school that is for everyone... specifically, what is there about midd that would make people not like it? The drinking scene?

Btw im still waiting to hear from 7 schools. (Including Midd)

I'm waiting to hear from Williams, Midd, Bowdoin, Colby and Cornell (accepted at UVM Honors College and SUNY Geneseo)

where else have people applied to/ been accepted/ still waiting to hear from?

waiting to hear from Williams, Colby, Johns Hopkins, Middlebury (I was deferred ED), Grinnell, Wellesley, Oberlin, Carleton, Union (Schenectady, NY).

I was accepted to SUNY Binghamton.

well when i siad that i mean..its kind of like high school....thats what i hear..the high school drama..and umm its a great school academically wise..but the social scene gets boring pretty quickly..i really like midd....but i think the first year..i could easily get bored of it....yikes:..thts what i meant

im waiting to hear from 7 more too.....7 down 7 to go

yikes waiting to hear from 3 ivies..boston midd barnard and sophie davis(7 yr med prog)

got into nyu,umich--annarbor, bing, stony,newpaltz, oldwest,and rpi(60g scholarship)

wow this is the first time i typed taht out....AGHH!..scared

in the spirit of March 26 being only 5 days away ... does anyone know what time we find out online? This isn't entirely absurd -- other schools have said. Anyone panicking yet?

lol truegibberish why don't you save all your letters from colleges?

"Notification of final action on your application will be mailed on March 25, 2005, and will be available to you online after 8:00 a.m. on the following day, at: http://www.middlebury.edu/decisions."

Midd is in Vermont so decisions should be up at 8 a.m. EST, which means 5 a.m. PST for me. Maybe I'll pull an all nighter...

hehe, delerious, i save them all. Read them thoroughly and remember their content? Not so much (although its not a bad idea...) Thanks for the info. Even though its 8 for me, i think I'll stay up all night too. Maybe that way, if it turns out bad, i can just head right off to sleep... Thanks again. I think I'll go find those letters ...

I'm so much more emotional when tired...I'd hate to get rejected after pulling an all-nighter. Yes, I'll definitely sleep in preparation for the worst.

I will know the final results on tour.
In the holiday, I will see the sea, beach ,coco...
I am looking forward to hearing from Midd...
:)Please, don't let me be disappointed.

yikes.....the 26th?....grr i thought it would be up on the 25th

mailed the 25th, online the 26th....
We are almost there!

ack, i have colby on friday and middlebury on saturday, both online...so much for a relaxing Easter weekend.

haha same. well hopefully its a lucky weekend?

you said it! I can't wait for GOOD Friday :-P :-D.

lol... lets all hope its good!

we actually dont find anything out on friday right..bcuz its mailed out on friday?...so itll come like what..saturday or monday?

I know from Early Decision that the decisions are posted online on the Saturday at 8AM, but the mailed copy came really quickly for me. It arrived on the Monday and was sent through UPS. Good luck to you all and know that wherever you end up, you'll have a great experience.

yeah, it's mailed friday, but posted saturday. Anyone know if 8am is an approximation or a definite... not any earlier, perchance? Just my luck I end up with a doctor's appt at 8:30-- I have to leave before I can check! Maybe more time in bliss will be good -- who knows. What fun, what fun. Good luck all.

Ha, you east coasters have it lucky. It'll be up at 5 AM for me, which leaves me in quite a dilemma of whether or not to get up early to check it. Lord knows I'll have a hard enough of a time trying to fall asleep anyway...

Okay, I've resolved to get up early to check it. This will promote a healthy sleep schedule and I can always go use the extra time to exercise.
