<p>It probably means you have a very small budget for college. If in fact your EFC is zero you qualify for a Pell Grant. All college kids qualify for a federal direct loan…so you are somewhere around $10,000 so far toward the cost of college, half in grant and half in loan. The rest is entirely dependent on what you can contribute, if your parent(s) can help in anyway and if you qualify for need money or merit money at any of the colleges where you will be accepted.</p>
