I looked at the SAR and it says there was an error with my mom’s birthdate matching up with her SSN, but other than that, there aren’t any instructions there. Should I wait on my school to contact me?</p>
<p>Yes, the school does the actual verification and will send you a letter with the necessary forms and instructions. It generally involves filling out and signing a short form for them and sending it back asap with copies of your (and your parents) signed Federal tax return and W-2s/1099s. If you filed taxes electronically, sign the copies before you send!</p>
