EFC of $12,000- Do I have demonstrated need?

<p>A good many scholarships out there require that one have "demonstrated need." Does an EFC of $12,000 fit the bill?</p>

<p>it depends on the COA of the school you are going to attend.</p>

<p>If it is $10,000 then no.
If it is $50,000 then yes.</p>

<p>If it is $10,000 your $12K has it covered.</p>

<p>If the Cost-Of-Attendance is $50,000 then your demonstrated need is $38K.</p>
