Effect of loss of High School Accreditation?

The High School I'm currently attending is currently facing the possibility of losing their accreditation. At the moment we're on probation. Basically the problem is that our school building is a piece of... undesirable waste. The complaints by the NEASC are as follows:
• Inefficient heating system
• Inadequate kitchen facility
• Outdated science laboratories
• Inadequate library
• Lack of adequate space for the music and drama programs
• Lack of on-site playing fields for several athletic programs
• Numerous ADA accessibility issues
Although there is currently discussion over building a new school, I have a feeling it'll get voted down by the community, as happened in a nearby school district. If it loses accreditation before I graduate (2011), is it still possible to get into a college like BU or BC?

I can’t imagine why it’s loss of accreditation would hurt any worse than a home-schooled kid’s situation would.

That said, Boston College has become a reach school for many/most kids no matter where they went to school.
