Hi,
This may be a dumb question but I'm going to ask it anyway. I got a brochure for the FTE Econ for Leaders summer program. I was looking into it and thought it would be a great experience. However, at my high school, economics is a senior course, so obviously I haven't taken it yet and have no real background knowledge on the subject. Is it necessary for me to have taken Econ in any form at school before attending the program? Is the program more introductory economics or is some background econ knowledge necessary to reap the full benefits of the program?
I just don't want to be that kid in the corner who doesn't know what's going on lol.
Please let me know. Thanks!

I don’t think you have to have any experience! I’m applying this year (currently writing my essay :D) and I haven’t taken any real economics classes! 2 years ago I did a econ course at a program called Summer@Brown, but it wasn’t anything major. Plus, they don’t even ask for a r

Thanks for your reply! There was actually an option at my school to take on-level Econ over the summer, so I’m planning on applying to later program dates so that I can go once my course ends. That way I’d have finished my Econ graduation requirement and I would be in a decent shape for the EFL program.
