<p>this isn't like a volunteer experience with a library or animal shelter so can i still write about it?</p>
<p>"One of the classes I am currently taking this year is AP physics C. My teacher, Mr. Towne, puts on many study sessions during the year for our class, but for the regular physics class, there are only four. He offers the AP students community service hours to show up, help set up for the study session, and tutor the regular physics students. So I decided to volunteer and be a tutor for the study session. I partnered up with one of my friends to be in charge of one of the rooms for the study session. There, we gave students a practice test on one of the topics, conservation of energy. We helped the students with any questions they had and showed them how to solve some of the harder problems. The hours passed quickly and as the students were leaving one of them said something that could have been disregarded by many of my peers. He said, Thanks AP physics people! It was so casual, but I felt appreciated and I realized how good it feels to help others."</p>
