Electrical Eng or Mechanical

I am currently registered as an EE studen and very interested in Electromechanical system/micro-system/ mechatronics / aerospace. Should I continue in EE as my school's EE curriculum offeres no physics/heat transfer/thermo courses other than a second year Vector Mechanics course. or should I go to ME and take some EE courses at the same time and choose the Mechatronics option in final year?

Can any Engineering grads tell me more about Mechatronics / MicroElectroMechanicalSystem (MEMS) ????

As to job prospects..is ME worse than EE like many ppl have told me???

I don't think the job propects are much different. Did you take two semesters of Physics yet? If you did, was one more mechanical and one more electrical? If so, which one did you enjoy more?

My secondary focus in grad school is MEMS. I come from an EE/CE background. I don't think you will have any problems pursing MEMS for your graduate studies with an undergrad in EE.
