<p>Hey, i am a transfer and i am working on getting my last two apps out, one of which is to NYU. I am using the common app, and have all that wrapped up, but I am wondering if when they say the deadline is the first of April, and that's this sunday, whether that means by midnight that night EST, or during NYU'S ostensibe business hours, before 4:00 P.M. Anyone know?</p>

<p>I think that it's midnight on April 1st. Make sure you're taking into consideration time zones. Not completely sure though.</p>

<p>I sent my RD application out the day after the deadline =P (my friends told me I was retarded =P) but still got in...but I wouldn't recommend it. I kinda had an excuse, we'd just had an earthquake in hong kong that disrupted our phone lines, though the majority had been fixed by then, i had the benefit of the doubt...</p>
