Elon, anyone?

<p>After being deferred by Furman for ED (I'm shocked...), I've discovered I may unintentionally put too many eggs in one basket. So...does anyone here know much about Elon? Any comments are appreciated...whether it be academics, the social life, etc. </p>

<p>I walked around the campus this summer after spending a day at UNC-Chapel Hill and thought it was really nice. However, the Princeton Review has it pictured to be somewhat of a yuppie/frat-filled school, which is not something I really want. Something in me wants me to like this school though. Anyone?</p>

<p>I have heard from other parents that it has a Northeast private school feeling to it. Also the ratio of F - M is like 66% - 33%. Good academics.</p>

<p>D and I visited in Nov. We were impressed by the school and the programs. The opportunities for internships and travel abroad are great. The only reason she decided against it was the location. She wants a larger town. Good luck</p>
